Product Scope

Rushi is provided as A quiet iOS app for sutra reading, mala counting, and copy-practice.

The product page, App Store download link, privacy policy, terms, and support contact define the current public product scope.

Use of the Product

Rushi is a personal scripture reading, mala counting, and copy-practice utility. It is not a religious service, publication service, donation service, medical or mental-health service, or promise of blessing, merit, salvation, or any spiritual outcome. Do not misuse the app, reverse engineer it, extract or redistribute bundled scripture, sound, calligraphy, copybook images, icons, screenshots, code, or other bundled assets outside their own source licenses, or use it in ways that violate applicable law, platform rules, or third-party rights.

User Content and Local Data

Scripture reading, mala counts, copy-practice works, settings, and copybook practice state stay on device. Rushi has no account system, no ads, and no third-party tracking. The optional one-time Copy Practice Unlock is handled by Apple StoreKit, and Hooosberg does not receive Apple IDs, payment methods, or billing details.

Reading state, mala counts, copy-practice works, settings, and local copy-practice unlock state are stored on the device. You are responsible for your device security, backups, iCloud/device settings, and any exports you create. Deleting the app may remove local app data according to iOS behavior.

Downloads, Purchases, and Updates

Downloads, purchases, in-app purchases, refunds, updates, and account-level store records are handled by Apple App Store and Apple StoreKit.

Core scripture reading, mala counting, and basic quiet practice features are free. The optional non-consumable in-app purchase Copy Practice Unlock unlocks copy-practice features, brush tracing, PDF export, and source-backed calligraphy copybooks through Apple StoreKit. Rushi does not offer auto-renewable subscriptions. Refunds, billing issues, and purchase records are handled by Apple under App Store rules.

Third-Party Services

The app may use Apple platform services such as App Store, StoreKit, and iCloud/iOS system behavior where applicable. Apple's own terms and policies apply to those services.

Rushi does not include advertising networks, third-party analytics SDKs, social feeds, cloud accounts, hosted scripture sync, or third-party AI services. Bundled public-domain, open-license, or otherwise openly usable scripture, sound, and copybook source materials, including Liu Gongquan Diamond Sutra and Ouyang Xun Heart Sutra copybook sources where available, remain subject to their source notices and may not be extracted or reused outside the app except as allowed by those source terms.
