Overview

Rushi brings together the Diamond Sutra, Heart Sutra, multilingual scripture text, mala counting, quiet sound, and source-backed copybook practice based on open or public-domain source images. Reading and mala features are free; Copy Practice Unlock is an optional one-time in-app purchase handled by Apple StoreKit.

This privacy policy applies to Rushi. Product delivery for this app happens through the App Store and the linked Hooosberg product website.

Data Handling

Scripture reading, mala counts, copy-practice works, settings, and copybook practice state stay on device. Rushi has no account system, no ads, and no third-party tracking. The optional one-time Copy Practice Unlock is handled by Apple StoreKit, and Hooosberg does not receive Apple IDs, payment methods, or billing details.

Rushi Data Flow

Rushi is a quiet scripture reading, mala counting, and copy-practice app for iPhone and iPad. It has no Hooosberg account system, no advertising SDK, no third-party analytics SDK, no social feed, and no developer cloud scripture or copy-practice service.

In-App Purchases

The optional non-consumable purchase Copy Practice Unlock is handled by Apple App Store and StoreKit. Rushi stores a local unlock state for copy-practice features. Hooosberg does not receive the user's Apple ID, payment method, billing address, App Store account credentials, or full purchase history. Restore Purchases uses Apple's StoreKit flow.

Copybook and Source Images

Rushi includes bundled public-domain, open-license, or otherwise openly usable scripture, sound, and copybook source materials for reading and visual copy-practice, including Liu Gongquan Diamond Sutra copybook source images and Ouyang Xun Heart Sutra copybook source images where available. Viewing original copybook images, switching Diamond Sutra pages, zooming, or tracing in the app does not upload the image or the user's practice work to Hooosberg.

Deletion and Retention

Because Rushi does not create a Hooosberg account or server profile, there is no server-side user account for Hooosberg to delete. Local reading state, mala counts, settings, copy-practice works, and local unlock state can be removed by deleting the app from the device. Apple may retain purchase, refund, crash, or store activity records under Apple's own policies and user settings.

Platform Services

When you download, purchase, update, or review this product through Apple App Store, Apple may process account, payment, device, crash, or store activity data under its own privacy policy.
