Three planning routes
For domestic programmes, verify provincial plans, university regulations, subject requirements, rank history, and admission rules. For Hong Kong/Macau and joint programmes, verify recruitment route, tuition, scholarships, English requirements, and qualification pathway. For overseas routes, verify official application systems, total cost, language and document requirements, visas, and progression options.
A useful student profile records province, year, subjects, score and rank range, language level, budget, interests, location preferences, non-negotiables, and desired outcome. Missing official evidence must be labelled ‘to be verified’.
Read the school data, pathway notes, and student profile. List source dates and missing information. Compare domestic, Hong Kong/Macau or joint-program, and overseas options. For each option, state fit, budget and language conditions, risks, official verification links, and what the family must confirm next. Never use ‘guaranteed admission’ language.
